Noses

I haven't been up to much in the way of serious photography as of late, but I have snapped a few shots here and there. I followed my dog around the yard for a few minutes a couple afternoons ago in an attempt to get some cute nose-centered shots, but only managed to get a couple worthwhile images. (That particular idea was sparked when I caught her sniffing our rose bush--it was cute, but apparently difficult to capture on camera.)

Just yesterday, we took a random drive out to a mining museum here in town that happens to have an adorable burro on their property. They're okay with visitors dropping by to say hey to the burro, so we socialized with the little equine for a bit. I had my little point and shoot Sony with me, so I didn't produce anything spectacular, but I thought this shot of her muzzle turned out alright (and fit the nose theme).

"Elementary," said he.

"Though it can be said that I've been on many an extraordinary photo shoot, one stands out in my mind as the most singular of them all.."

Hold up... I'm not writing a Sherlock Holmes story. Forgive me.

Per Easter custom, we visited my grandparents' house for dinner. During a portion of dinner preparation in which I wasn't needed, I ventured onto their deck where their cat, Watson, was lounging in the spring sun. Photographing Wassy was a change of pace from shooting Seighin, who's almost constantly trying out quirky new ways of getting attention.

Thought I'd share some shots of the eggs we dyed for Easter this year. I attempted creativity, but spare time in which to do a shoot was limited, so this is the best I managed.
