Mish Mashed Odds 'N Ends
It's been a month since my last post. And let me tell ya, it's been quite the month. At least one person in the household has been sick at any given time during May (and usually more than one.) We've had crazy job schedules, broken fingers, and a new life caring for the burro whose nose is pictured in the previous post. (Long story--an explanation will come once we can get him all groomed and camera-ready.) To be blunt, we're all looking forward to the end of May.
As I've felt like dying most of the month, I really didn't do anything notable in the way of photography. I've taken a few shots here and there, the best of which I'm posting here. The rest? Well, they're not something I intend to ever share.
A caterpillar I found just yesterday on one of our johnny jump-ups. It took about twenty-five shots to get this one clear photo. LH and my mom can vouch for me on this one.
One of the roses on my mom's lovely rose bush. We had to relocate the bush back in fall to clear the way for my landlord's landscaping project and fully expected the plant to die--it's surprised us by producing a larger batch of flowers than ever before.
My grandparents' dog, Caprice. I took this shot during the air show the Thunderbirds put on for the Air Force Academy graduation annually. None of my Thunderbird photos turned out.
The coils of a massive albino ball python that I ran into back at the beginning of the month.
